Living the life of your dreams is one of those things we all want to do, but how many believe it’s actually possible? It might even seem a bit far-fetched to believe you can live a life you love right now. I’m here to tell you it’s totally possible when you decide you will no longer settle.
It seems there is this BS notion running rampant in the world that says we have to merely survive the life we have been given and do the best with the hand we’ve been dealt. And if you are one of many who have bought into that, you are likely settling for a life that feels a bit ho-hum, when what you really deserve is a life you simply adore. We’ve all been taught in some form or fashion that being logical, realistic, and responsible is how you are supposed to live life.
But being an airy-fairy, head in the clouds kind of gal, it sounds a bit boring to me.
I want you to know that you can have it all. The money, the relationships, the joy, the career, the family, and enjoy every bit of it starting right now. It all starts with these 3 secrets.
- Get clear on what you want. Get dreamy and begin painting a picture of what the life of your dreams looks and feels like. Remember to use your imagination and have fun. You can even create a vision board with pictures and words that remind illustrate your dream. Remember this is the life of your dreams so nothing is off-limits.
- Believe you can have it. If you don’t believe you deserve it or that it is possible, the next step will be futile. Believe you can have it. Use affirmations or affirmations if you have to but truly believe it is possible. And if you get stuck with feeling worthy and believing, start getting rid of those self-limiting beliefs with EFT Tapping or journaling. Your mind is powerful, let it work for you not against you.
- Take inspired action. Instead of taking ‘logical’ action, do what feels most inspiring for you. Get quiet and clear your mind and feel your way forward by listening to your heart. What action lights you up most? Go do that and let it lead yo to the next step. All the steps combined will lead you to the life of your dreams.

I love the “inspired action” tip because so often we hear of people giving advice based on whats practical. I know when I’m listening to my intuition, the action I choose to do is always most aligned. Thanks for the reminder!

Estefania you hit the nail on the head…being aligned is key in all of this. And it’s not about being in alignment with someone else’s path or how they have gotten from point A to point B. It’s about YOUR path and your heart knows the best route for you. Thanks for commenting!

I loved your blog post especially on believing you deserve it. Self worth is the key to growth and personal development. Thank you!

Thanks for commenting Claire. 🙂 I have had many conversations just this week with clients regarding how worthy they feel in receiving what they want. If you don’t feel you deserve it it’s hard to make it happen.

I love vision boards! Mine gets updated every month (I think), with new things to add. It’s a simple corkboard that I put infront of my work station at home. What your mind can conceive- you can achieve! Life is abundant!
lserf13 says
I agree 100% Jien. Do you find that you are manifesting much quicker with the vision board?
Kelly St Claire says
I loved that! I especially agree with the part about taking inspired action. So important. Thanks for the lovely post.
lserf13 says
Thanks for reading and commenting Kelly! And yes inspired action is key. 🙂

I love this post! I especially love the part about believing that you can have it and also that you mentioned EFT which is great for moving through self-limiting belief systems. Bravo!

Hi Yroko, I found EFT this year and it’s been a life saver for me. I recommend it to clients all the time! Thanks for commenting. 🙂

You’re right, we certainly don’t have to just “survive” this life. Thanks for the encouragement!
lserf13 says
Thanks for commenting Angela! I hope more people tap into the thriving piece of the life puzzle as opposed to the survival piece.

Love your distinction about “inspired” action – rather than what we think we should be doing. Really very different because there is energy behind that kind of action – so it’s both more likely to get done and more likely to be magnetic in some way.
lserf13 says
Yes! I like the idea of it being magnetic. It brings more of the same and feels good while you are doing it. There is nothing better than inspiration. At least in my experience. 🙂

Believing you can have it is a big one for me! I’m getting better and better at it each day.
lserf13 says
Sally, it takes practice for sure. Keep working at it and visualizing it, and trusting that it can and will happen. This is an amazing journey we are on and it is oh so good!

I love how you say “instead of taking logical action”….I agree with you that this is the key! Time to place your mind on the side table and say “Thank you for your help, but right now I want to listen to my heart”…
Thank you-Great post!
lserf13 says
I love that! Put your mind on the side table and yes that is what you have to do. Our minds are good for some things, but they can inhibit us as well.
