Your Feedback
As we wind down the week and move into the weekend I wanted to take some time to get your feedback. I want to create content, resources, and services that will best serve my clients and would love you to share your thoughts.
Below I have put together a brief survey that will take you less than 5 minutes to complete. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me. If you have other comments or suggestions to share that do not fit the questions in the survey, feel free to send me an email at lamisha@lifeoncedreamt.com.
Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Inspiration Round-up
For the past several weeks I have been doing Dreamer Highlights on people who I have found that are living the life of their dreams in some way. These posts are meant to inspire you and prove that anything is possible, even that seemingly ginormous dream you want to accomplish. In addition to finding people who are inspiring, I have found many articles, videos, and interviews that have a lot of good information that I would like to share with you. So, once a week I will be posting either an Inspiration Round-up post or a Dreamer Highlight to help motivate and inspire you to do amazing things!!
With that said, here is the first installment of the newly created Inspiration Round-up.
- This is the latest interview from Lilou Mace, a woman I have spoken about several times on my blog. In this interview she speaks with Jack Canfield (creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books) about dreaming, success, and how to figure out what your life purpose might be. Great information and I promise it will leave you with your head in the clouds.
- This video I stumbled upon today and is a Ted Talk by a woman/musician/actress named Amanda Palmer. Her talk is titled “The Art of Asking” and she shares how she came to the realization that asking is an art, skill, and is a way for us to share our talents, resources etc. with each other. I absolutely love this video. Enjoy!
- Another great interview from Lilou Mace with Joseph Clough who has been helping people realize their potential since he was 18. Joseph is a hypnotist and life coach helping people find what they want to do, what they are meant to do, and helping them overcome any personal blocks that they may find along the way.
- One of my favorite videos from none other than Kid President. Do you need a pep-talk? “You were made to be AWESOME!” Watch this, smile, remember you can do anything, and create something that will make the world awesome.
I hope you enjoyed this inspiration round-up and I look forward to sharing many more with you in the future.
Have you read something recently that you want to share? Please feel free to pass the info along in the comments section. I would love to see where you find your inspiration.
Dreamer Highlight: Elizabeth Harper From Sealed With Love
Lately I have been drawn to dreamers who give in fully to the inspirational pull they have and in doing so, find a wide variety of dreams waiting for them. I think part of the reason I am drawn to these type of dreamers is because I am one of them. I have never been a woman to do just one thing. In fact I have always had some sort of midnight hustle in addition to my day job that fulfilled the creative soul within me. I have choreographed pieces, coached dance teams, taught dance, and am now writing and beginning my life coaching business. I am convinced we aren’t meant to do just one thing and if we were able to remove all doubt that blocks our progress, we all would be doing 2,3, or 4 things that fills us with joy.
This week’s Dreamer Highlight is a woman with bubbling passion, creativity, and ingenuity in all of the wonderful things she does.
Elizabeth Harper is an intuitive medium and healer as well as an author, artist, spiritual teacher, and creative soul. Not only does she do various intuitive readings for her clients, but she also attends and teaches various workshops to teach clients how to tap into their intuition and use it in their every day lives. She also allows her creativity to take flight in her art that includes amazing jewelry, silk energy wraps, meditations, and her book Wishing: How to Fulfill Your Heart’s Desires.
What I love about Elizabeth Harper is her vibrant energy (which can be seen in her weekly Colorscope intuitive readings on Youtube) and her love of life. She follows her heart in all of her pursuits and simply does what makes her happy whether it is creating amazing fairy wing pendants or following her intuition to create personalized energy wraps for her clients. Her energy is contagious and she is the ultimate dreamer. To find out more information about Elizabeth and her amazing work, check out her website Sealed With Love.
The more I do this post, the more I realize how many people find that their path just unfolds almost effortlessly when they follow their hearts. There may be small challenges to overcome, but generally speaking each step of their path unfolds in exactly the right time and without a lot of “work” on their part. Instead of planning, stressing, and worrying in order to make something happen, they find that the more they follow their hearts, the easier it becomes. And you don’t just have to do one thing. You can do many things if they bring you joy!
So what are you waiting for? Go find your joy!!
Declare Who You Are!
A really great post on standing in your power of who you are. Don’t allow others to pigeon hole you into where they think you belong. Declare who you are and watch your life transform!
