Happy Friday Friends!
With everything going on in the world right now, there was a part of me that hesitated writing and sharing this with you. However, the bigger part of me knew it was important to share to help bring a bit of inspiration and empowerment amidst all the doom and gloom news that can be found in the media.
Now, before you continue reading know this. I am not here to tell you what to do or how to move through this seemingly precarious time in the world. I just want to share a few things that have come up for me over the last few weeks & invite you to take what resonates and leave the rest.
Friday 5: March Madness
1. Self-Care is non-negotiable right now.
The past month or so has been full of energetic shifts, old stuff rising to the surface, emotional breakthroughs and a lot of tough stuff for so many of us (myself included). And whenever that happens it’s imperative to take time to care for yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. Self-care is critical right now for us to not only process the healing that has been unfolding over the last few weeks, but to also keep ourselves empowered and healthy as we move forward into the future. I’ve been getting lots of messages that this is a time for us to really “be” in the moment as much as possible and to care for ourselves in all ways. Of course this goes for our physical bodies (sleeping, eating well, washing hands etc.) but also caring for our minds and energy too. A shift is coming but for now, self-care is a non-negotiable.
2. Upheaval=Up-level
This is just a reminder that when we see these massive upheavals happening in our individual lives or on a collective level it always leads to an up-level. While it feels really challenging in the moment when our entire world feels like it’s being shaken upside down, the truth is we are actually expanding and evolving. Through this process there are lots of lessons learned, transformation that is triggered, and change that is inspired that will ultimately take us to a better place. It isn’t always easy to see it in the moment, but that’s where the power of belief comes in. When you know the current chaos is leading you to something better, it helps to put things in perspective a bit. What are you learning through this upheaval?
3. Mind your mind.
Now more than ever we are seeing the effects of mass consciousness and how we are all connected. Fear can be crippling and at times it causes us to get caught up in a loop of thought that doesn’t serve us or the world we live in. So, while we currently have a concerning global issue we are all finding our way through, it’s critical to mind your mind. Be mindful of what you are feeding your mind on a daily basis and try to balance the concern you may have with the beliefs that help you maintain balance, belief, and trust that all will be ok. I know it’s a scary time, but one of the best things we can do right now is manage our minds and be intentional with our focus.
4. Your breakthrough is coming.
This is simply a reminder that no matter how long you’ve been on your journey and no matter how hard it may seem right now…your breakthrough is coming. You may not always see it. You may not always feel it in the moment, but trust and believe that your breakthrough is coming. Life is always working out for us even (and especially) when it appears that it isn’t. Things change quickly for the better so while things might feel a bit weird at the moment, know that your breakthrough is coming & it’s coming soon. Hang in there.
5. Together we rise.
Let’s never forget that we are part of a “collective” and there are many issues, challenges, problems and other things in the world that try to separate us, we are more powerful together than we are apart. Human beings are not meant to go it alone. We are communal beings and supporting one another, sharing, caring, and providing comfort is a key element of who we are. Please don’t forget that. I know there’s a lot of fear in the world right now and I’d be lying if I said I was immune to it, but the best way through it is to go through it together. Remember friends…together we rise.
