So, life’s been pretty…interesting lately.
There have been moments when everything feels in alignment, on purpose, and totally flowing and other times where it feels like the ground I am standing on is shifting under my feet.
It’s an interesting place to be since each feeling is totally different than the other, but it’s also a feeling I know well, though often forget.
I’m seeing this happen in many of my friend’s and client’s lives too. Life feels so overwhelming and things feel like they are coming apart at the seams. Perfectly laid plans are crumbling and it feels like we are being forced to purge so many beliefs, fears, and even physical stuff.
I’m no astrologer, but I totally believe in the power of the planets and their alignment and it feels like this life upheaval is a Universal affair.
Lucky us.
From some of my favorite spiritual teachers and intuitives, I am hearing that this is an opportunity for us to release what no longer serves us and welcome in new opportunities and new energies. Makes sense right? We are getting so close to Spring and this is similar to a life Spring cleaning.
I’ve felt this type of thing before. As I said, it’s not new to me at all as I have had several big life upheavals that have opened the door to more living, learning, growing, and ultimately new opportunities.
The life upheaval can show up in a variety of ways-losing a job, moving cross country, or even just little disagreements and blow outs with friends and family. I’ve done all of these in various times in my life and they all have lead to new opportunities.
Here’s how I see it.
We have moments in our lives when we are moving right along with no worries. There are changes we need to make, but we don’t make them because things are running fairly smoothly and it often isn’t until life forces us to make that change or take action that we finally oblige.
This is something similar. As we continually move through life there are life experiences we want to make and in order to manifest them, we have to level up our energy. Doing so often means we have to release and let go of the baggage that is holding us back. This can come in the form of physical things like clothes, shoes, old books, papers etc. or in the form of beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and memories that are ready to be processed.
If you are feeling a similar life upheaval I want you to know this…
You are NOT crazy and this process IS leading you to bigger, better things. Things that you WANT in your life. I promise.
My last big life upheaval came in the form of me losing my full-time employment which was scary and frustrating, but it led me to be able to do what I love full-time.
Before that, my wife got assigned to a new military base and we had to find a home and move 9 hours away from where we previously lived, but that led us to amazing new friends, new opportunities, and our beautiful home.
The best thing you can do during moments like these is go with the flow and feel the feelings (or as I like to call them the feels) that come along with the changes. Be open to the changes and move through them with a curious mind and open heart.
I’ve also found journaling, meditation, EFT, and connecting with friends and coaches can be very helpful.
You are getting ready to experience some amazing growth unlike any other! Shine baby shine!
