“I feel stuck in my life and I don’t know what to do!!!”
One of the things I see and hear way too often are people constantly, consistently, and continuously saying just how stuck and lost they feel.
They say it, think it, believe it, share it, tweet it, and write about it non-stop, all the while not realizing that they are actively creating more situations to feel stuck. (I know it’s a viscous cycle.)
And believe it or not, I’ve found myself in those situations a time or two (or 10 if I’m honest) and it sucks. I also know how absolutely real those feelings are and how you literally have no idea what to do.
But here’s the truth:
Your words matter. They hold energy and they are actively creating your future!
(All day, everyday, no exceptions)
So, why not use more empowering language that will not only help you feel better, but also invite miracles into your life?
Here are 4 questions to ask yourself when you feel stuck in life. The best part is that YOU don’t even have to come up with the answers! How’s that for easy?
- How does it get any better than this???? This very magical question can work in multiple ways. When you are feeling amazing and life is unfolding perfectly, you can say it, write it, think it, chant it etc. and welcome in more awesomeness into your life. You can also use it when things are tough and you feel a bit stuck. By simply asking the Universe “How does it get any better than this?”, you are inviting the Universe to show you. And believe me when I say, you will begin seeing the shifts almost immediately! (Go ahead, give it a go!)
- What would it take for me to _______??? This question is particularly useful when you find yourself at a loss for what to do next. Posing this question in your daily mindset practice or whenever you feel stuck is just another way of asking for assistance and signs from the Universe. I use this question for both seemingly big and small things and it works wonders. Everything from “What would it take for me to get to my appointment safely and on time?” to “What would it take for me to have more than enough money for all that I want and need for the next 50 years?”–this question is powerful and can be used for virtually anything. The key with this one is to pay attention to any and all ideas and nudges that come up for you after posing the question. It’s very likely the Universe is giving you your answer.
- What do I need to do to (be, have, do) ______? Similar to the last question, this one asks specifically what do in order to fulfill whatever desire you have. My suggestion for this question as well as the last is to work these into your daily journaling or mindset work consistently and see what ideas pop up for you. Remember, you may not receive an instant booming voice in your head (you actually may never hear that anyway), but as you proceed through your days you will be guided. Just listen and act.
- How did I ______ so easily/quickly? This one is a bit different in that it plays a bit off of the affirmation idea and turns it into a question. The idea is that you set up the question as if you have already received or experienced what you desire and you are asking how it happened so easily or quickly. Again, the Universe is set up in a way that there are no questions without answers and when you ask this question, you will be led to the answers. Guaranteed.
I encourage you to use these questions for the next 7 days or so and see what happens. Be playful about it and work it into your day through your mindset practice or have them pop up on your phone and then start noticing what you notice. Become the observer in your life.
One more tip: Try not to get too serious about this either. At times we (ahem I) can get a bit too serious and start searching high and low for the answers which can stop the flow. So, ask the questions and let it go, then watch the signs and synchronicities that unfold for you.
