With Thanksgiving coming tomorrow, I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude, giving, and sharing. I’m so very grateful for all of you that have read my posts, followed me on Facebook or Twitter and have taken the time to allow me into the sacred space of your inbox. Before I go any further, I just want you to know I appreciate you.
Today I bring you a tip that I have been offering to many of my clients lately and thought you might find it useful as you move through the rest of your week and the final days of the year.
You may have heard of the Gratitude List to raise your vibration and to shift your mindset to the good things in your life, but I like to do something a bit different.
I make a “Love List”.
It’s a similar concept really, but sometimes it’s easier for people to write an extensive list when they think of all the things they love. Simply grab a pen and paper and get writing. As you make your list, you will begin seeing the images of what you love in your mind and immediately feel the shift in your energy and vibration. You don’t have to have that thing directly in front of you at the moment to feel the shift. You can simply imagine having it or experiencing it and it works in the same way.
My list often goes like this: I love…naps, rainbows, the smell of rain, fresh cut grass, hot baths, good wine, snuggling with my son, the ocean, coffee… Just doing that now has put me into a state of bliss and boy does it feel good!
Try it out for yourself and see how you feel.
I recommend this exercise to anyone that is having trouble imagining the good or shifting their energy to a more positive state of mind. Manifestations and creating the life of your dreams require you to be open to all the amazing ideas and next steps that are coming your way.
You have to be in a state of flow in order to allow and receive the things you are wanting to manifest. Many times that is the only block holding people back.
Give it a try and let me know how you feel afterwards. Do you find it easier to make a love list or a gratitude list?
