Let’s be honest.
We all have expectations, goals, intentions, opportunities, insights, and a vision for how we want things to work out.
We set our hearts on a specific outcome with the painted picture in our minds of how things will all come together. Not only do we know what we want, we know exactly how we want it to happen.
Seems simple enough right? Maybe even wise, but what happens when our exact vision doesn’t work out the way we wanted it to?
If you are like me (the old me), you might fall into a pit of despair wondering how in the world it could’ve happened and what you did wrong.
You might feel deep disappointment for what didn’t work out, all the while discounting everything that did.
You might even lose sight of the bigger picture and allow one tiny mis-step or perceived failure become the way you view your path and the world.
But here’s something to consider…
When it seems things aren’t working out, it often means something better is coming down the pike.
We can’t possibly know all the ways our dreams can come true. Each and every day we have a very limited view of ‘how’ things can happen for us. We look at our reality, the stuff right in front of us and find a logical path to take because we often believe we are in control.
The fact of the matter is we aren’t entirely in control. We don’t know all the ways money can flow to us. We don’t know all the contacts & opportunities that are in the world in any given moment so to believe we can find the BEST option on our own is a bit mis-guided.
Our job is not to figure out HOW all the time. It’s to simply follow our intuitive guidance and to be open to all possibilities.
I’ll give you an example.
When I was working in the corporate world (in a job I hated I might add), I had this deep desire to work from home. I had a co-worker at the time that was teaching online classes and I so desperately wanted to be able to work from home, I started applying. I had zero interest in teaching, but the idea of working from home was so amazing, I couldn’t help but give it a try.
I applied & failed.
So, I kept looking. I found it difficult to find a job that was happy to allow me to work from home without it being all spammy and used car salesman-like. I got to a point where I just gave up my search altogether thinking I would never find a job I desired with the freedom I craved.
Turns out I was right. I wasn’t going to FIND one…one was about to land in my lap with ease and grace.
About a month or two after I quit looking for the right work from home opportunity, I got a call from a previous coworker. He had moved to another organization and they had an opening he thought I might be interested in.
I applied for it even though it was for a company located in another state…a state I had no plan on moving to. Turns out the company was more focused on finding the right fit for the job and were willing to allow me to work from home.
THAT is what happens when you sit back and allow better things to come. Had I been open to that option earlier on, it might have come sooner, but I am deeply grateful that it happened when it did.
You see, this manifestation stuff is amazing. Things are ALWAYS working out for you as long as you believe it is and this isn’t just what I teach my clients, this is how I live on a daily basis.
I want to share that experience with you. If you’re ready for a big change and want to learn how to manifest the life of your dreams, let’s chat.
