If I had to define this whole “mindset” work thing…here’s how’d I’d explain it.
Mindset work that actually works (aka the work I do with my clients) isn’t about thinking happy thoughts & staying positive 24/7. In fact sometimes, it feels like the exact opposite of that.
To be honest it’s mostly…
–> Feeling the wide variety of emotions that come with being human & allowing them to be what they are without judgement.
–> Being willing to feel like shit temporarily so you can eventually move through to feeling & thinking better. (Because your feelings are for feeling.)
–> Witnessing your own human brain when it’s going off the rails & learning to love yourself through it.
–> Learning to manage & regulate your nervous system especially if/when you never learned how to do it properly growing up.
–> Soothing the body FIRST & then setting the mind with new thoughts/beliefs.
AND it’s also thinking new thoughts, embodying them & taking action from that place.
It might sound complicated, but I promise it’s all part of a seamless process that not only works, but is so much easier than you think (especially if you have someone walking you through it step-by-step).
You want to really change & transform your life by changing what you think & believe?
That’s the work. And it’s work that will not only transform your life in incredibly mind-blowing ways that you want, but also in ways you never imagined possible.
I’ll be sharing more on how to soothe the body & set the mind soon, however in the meantime, I’ve decided to offer my 21-Day Journaling Guidebook that you can download for free now.
This journaling guidebook has 21 days of prompts to help you build your own daily mindset practice. It’s a great place to begin if you’ve never had a daily practice or don’t know where to begin to build new beliefs.
Download the guidebook. Do the work. Change your life.
I promise, your future self will thank you for it.
