When it feels like it’s “not working” there are 2 things you can do immediately to shake things loose…
Instead of getting stuck in “I don’t know,” shift your thinking to 2 things..
1. Answer the questions…What DO I know? and What can I DO now?
2. Changing the thought to “I’ll figure it out.”
The truth is you know a lot more than you think & while your brain might want to convince you that you don’t know jack & you are stuck between a rock & a hard place…it’s all BS.
You DO know something. And you CAN do something right now…likely many somthings. So, get busy writing out the things you KNOW & can do.
Then, practice one of my favorite mantras..I’ll figure it out.
You will.
You have.
You can.
You are resourceful. You’ve figured out much harder things than whatever you are currently struggling with & instead of getting stuck in the loop of “I don’t knows”, remember what you *do* know.
Remember, you’ve figured it out before & you’ll figure it out again.
And when it comes to that big scary, hairy problem you just “don’t know”…remember sometimes all you need is a simple thought shift to get you moving again.
You don’t need more action, hustle or focusing on the problem. You just need some mindset tweaks, simple thought shifts & consistent practice to open up a world of possibilities you didn’t know were available for you.
